I recently noticed that Google has updated the PR of websites, also I was there were changes in blogspot, now if we are opening a blogspot in India it will be displayed as blogspot.in even if the original URL is blogspot.com. However if you use a proxy the comes as blogspot.com. Did anyone else noticed the same?
But this will not affect the blog's PR. Here is what I found at their official forum "If the blog has a standard blog header, it will have a tag which equates the "blogspot.in" URL to the "blogspot.com" URL. Google will index the "blogspot.in" URL as if it was the "blogspot.com" URL."
If you have your own domain name like blog.digitalpoint.com etc.... the .com should remain .com and not switch over to .in or need to be.
Yeah there was a topic about this on here about a week ago. Click here to see it, you're not alone in this. Not sure why this is the case though.
Just heard too only on .in blogspot blogs, probably a test before implementing worldwide. Hope that doesn't apply to US targeted blogs, or not totally for one specific country only.
