    got a negative balance of -$238.38, got an email today saying

    We have attempted to contact you on multiple occasions to make you aware of an outstanding issue with your account. Our records still indicate that your PayPal account has a negative balance of $222.20 and has been negativefor at least 36 days.

    This is an urgent matter that requires your immediate attention to ensure continued availability of your PayPal Account and to avoid additional collection efforts. If you do not resolve your negative balance today, your account could be sent to an outside Collection Agency for further action.

    what do I do? my cc and ba are linked, aswell as my address.

    yup, selling digital games on ebay with 100% feedback ebay said to have paypal setup a 3 way call to tell them that all products have been sent.
    of course, it is in my moms name and she would have to call but oh well.

    its gotta happen

    Right, you fraudulently set up a PayPal account in your Mum's name? That wasn't very nice of you. Yes, she'll need to know and she'll need to oversee your transactions until you're old enough to do it properly. Next time don't risk money you can't afford to lose and do your homework. These scams are well documented, there's no excuse.

    first of all my mom has access to this paypal, she knows what I sell, and where I sell it. and she is willing to call them for me.

    so thats not Fraudulently set-up.

    You choose the line of business you want to be in and you accept the risk that goes with it. You've chosen an incredibly high risk product and you have to accept the risk. Don't like it, do something else.
