Create some squidoo lenses around some keywords in your topics

Anchor text is content on your page that has an href (link associated to it) basically you make links within your written content that specifically targets the keyword or phrase you want related to your site.

So one example is...say I wrote a page about soccer. Just pretending here, let's say coincidentally I sell soccer balls. So I need to make sure I have "anchor text" that highlights what I sell. To do this I randomly add a link around the words "soccer ball" when I mention it in my article.

The link can go to another page on your site or to an external site. When an SE bot comes by it thinks "soccer ball" is important because it is highlighted with a link in your main content text.

Make sure you add an alt and title tag (inside the link code) that has the words soccer ball in it too. This will give it a little more juice.

In Makubwa's case I think he is just saying he submits to directories with links that have the keywords he wants to target.

If you already knew this, I apologize, I could not tell if you were trying to ask the question yourself or clarify for the original poster.

 

To attract more visitor and traffic to your site you need to submit your site to search engines/free directories.

Sorry, back again. I didn't want to post a link to my website here. I didn't want my post to get removed.(or get banned hehe). I didn't come here looking for visitors, just information. Thanks for all the good reading though, I have m work cut out for me, lol. I am only making like 20 cents per day with google adsense right now. Some days I make over a buck! I tried google adwords, but man..........talk about expensive!
