I bought a site about 6 months back. It was a drop catch domain I guess and the seller put a site and sold the site. I was trying to see if that site ever gets indexed and Google never indexed it. any help in getting the site indexed is appreciated. www. Care For Infant(.)com site is indexed in Yahoo.
1 - Upload the site map file to your website root directory 2 - Go to Google webmasters tools, sign in with your Google account 3 - Go to add site, type in the name of your site, then go to add site map and enter the full site map URL in the required field. That should help your site get indexed I also noticed that your site doesn't get many backlinks. Backlinks will improve your site's ranking and help you get indexed. Submitting articles with your link in a resource box to article directories will also help get Google to discover your website and get it crawled and indexed. There are hundreds of these article directories which also have good Page Rank and will accept your articles if your article is useful and well written
All this is really good information. You might want to try improving the quality of your meta tags and H1 tags on your site so Google knows where to rank you once they index you. Any high PR backlinks will help. Just keep backlinking and add a site map and you should be alright.
I can't believe it. You are a member here since 2006 with almost 5000 posts and do not know how to write a robots.txt nor how to get your site indexed?
Did you try Social Bookmarking? it;s very quick method to get websie index in major search engine even with in 24 -48 hours also add your sie link on your signature DP is also very famous
That is correct - I have 3 kids and a full time job. Never really looked at this stuff. I generally buy sites are use already built scripts. This is a site I bought on this forum any free or paid service is Ok and appreciate any help. Thanks
