There's a lot of bad legal advice going on. Wikipedia does not have a lock on fair use. Blogs for commentary and even parodies are fair game for just about anything. But the question was not on blogs, it was for a site. Again, if an embed code is available, you can share it. Many, many blogs are commercial in nature. Mine are. And I use youtube videos all the time. If a movie company does not want their trailers and excerpts shared, they will not have an embed code. And that's really what I am talking about using trailers and excerpts from youtube or other sources that supply an embed code. Notice this on youtubes's TOS: Looks like an adsense site is fair game. You can have ads on the site. Stephen C
I thought about doing trailers, but in the end i went with full length streaming movies and tv episodes. The best thing is that it is all legal as i obtained a limited license to stream. Besides Users would rather watch movies, then watch movie trailers. I dunno if this helps you, but here is how to set it up, and do it legally: See post #14 http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1738934
