Link Development Tip

This may be obvious to the majority of you, but I've yet to see anyone at all mention it as a link development tool in this topic.

If you're stuck for ideas on developing more backlinks...just use a backlink checker such as http://www.backlinkwatch.com/ and see where a competitor's site in your niche is getting theirs from.

Once again, I'm assuming this is a pretty obvious method to most, just trying to lend a tip if you're unaware.

thx man, nice tool, for small/new sites is great, for bigger sites it's kind of slow ... overall is very reliable and it's free :)

True, it is slow, But i've found most backlink checkers don't even register half of my backlinks that backlinkwatch does. Just run the site you want to analyse before you go eat breakfast or something.

You can also try Link Diagnosis which will give you much more data than BacklinkWatch and is faster.

use tinyurl.com to hide your url or do like this :

    www.computer-article.pc-shopz.com
    Code (markup):
or else you will get this , like i have :

Hide your url on the forums, don't use it in your sig. If you get to many backlinks like that you will get banned in google.

Jean are you suggesting you remove the URLs in peoples sigs? I'm confused. I've never heard that 'too many backlinks like that' would get you banned.

Yes to many backlinks in short time can hurt your standings in the search engines. I asked this questein in this thread:
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=721165

and if that helps to avoid getting to many spamming backlinks then everyone should start using a service like that if they want to have their urls in their sigs.
