Hi there, My name is Phill and I am based in the UK, and I am a writer/webmaster who has been creating link-bait for my own site and a few clients for a good few years now. My articles regularly get on the front page of Digg (bit of a relative ghost town now), Mixx, Yahoo, and Reddit and subsequently generate a good amount of traffic and links. I normally measure success on how many links my articles manage to generate. Some of my major successes have been links from high profile blogs such as boingboing and gizmodo. However, as this is not an exact science and results do vary but you should always get a reasonable result. I am not cheap and this is probably not something you should invest in if you don't make any money from your site. We prefer to have long term clients rather than doing the odd article every so often. Not every linkbait will hit the front page of digg but our long term clients are happy with the overall success of the articles we provide. My linkbait works because of the quality of the content. I spend a good proportion of our time away from the computer coming up with ideas that are unique and interesting. I pride myself on finding linkbait topics for every niche but we do suggest that clients from porn and gambling should host linkbait elsewhere and then either linkback or 301 redirect. I can show you an example of our work on request, just drop me a quick email - but I don't want to post the links on this forum as I like to keep my clients confidential. I charge $350 per article and this includes some promotion (we email our blogger contacts that we have a good relationship with and submit the content to the social media sites.) Linkbait works both as a fast way of building links quickly and can also be used a levergae during link request emailing. You can review a previous thread where people have given me some great testimonials (you have to scroll down to the end to find them). http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1663620 Just a quick not there are some examples in that thread that I have given but I have since sold the site and moved onto greener pastures. The guy who bought it has made a mess of the site so please bear this in mind but the links should still be good. Also I have managed to get a few i-traded feedback points which can be viewed here http://forums.digitalpoint.com/itrader.php?u=327108 Hope to hear from you Phill
