Hello, I have a webmaster forum and is doing quite well atm. I have good no. of pages listed in msn and yahoo but in google, i have been droped out of listing it seems. I get good amounts of google bots spidering my site but why arent this showing in my serps. Website in question : Webmaster Forums Any help would be of much use. I used to have 700 pages listed in google at one point. Pr of site is also only 2 whereas the no. of backlinks it has it should have been pr4-5 atleast as of my other sites have. Regards, Admans.
The 'sandbox' is a filter which acts to hold back newer sites and stop them appearing where you would expect for a competitive search term. As far as I know it will not affect your PR as this is purely to do with links. As your site is PR2 I don't expect it would show up very high for webmaster forum related search terms whether it was sandboxed or not.
Sorry for the duplicate post (again). IE7 has a bug whereby if you lose the connection while submitting a form it will resubmit the data even if the operation had almost completed. In the case of this forum it means I keep duplicate posting.
admans, Check out this thread. You may be a victim of a Google mistake: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=62225 -jay
Look at this cache of dcsoftware.info http://72.14.207.104/search?hl=en&q=cache%3Ahttp%3A%2F%2Fdcsoftware.info%2F&btnG=Google+Search&meta= It looks like an exact copy of your site. Could it be that yours is being filtered out because google thinks it is a duplicate?
hooperman, I owned this domain dcsoftware, i just placed a redirection to my site for some traffic that may come by as i would be developing that domain later on... What should i do now to get back into google. Any way out of googles filter? Regards, Admans.
