Yo, big site gone the way of the supplemental result. Over 200,000 pages, original content ( yes believe it or not). Anyone come through the side of supplemental hell?

Wow man that sucks, really bad. Did you have unique titles for each page?

yes, I had numerous sites get get blasted by dup filters

sometimes they are gone, sometimes they come back, sometimes they come back with 1/10 th the pages.

I even have one that was deindexed down to one page, so i removed all the duplicate content, then it came back , so i put a custom 404 with coop and adsense on it, and it has be stable hanging at 15,000 pages for months, like at least 6 months, even though all the pages just show 5 coop links and adsense.

You're not the only one. Look at
    webmasterworld.com/forum30/33351-1-15.htm

This is happening with almost every one!!! Either sites are converted to supplemental results, or the number of pages indexed are cut BIG time, or both. Or you're extremely lucky that Google hasn't touched you...yet!!!

    For example

    site:forums.digitalpoint.com

shows between 536,00 and 1,190,000 results and luckly hasn't entered 'Supplemental Result' yet.

seochat.com has been thrown in the dumps!!! :D:D
    Results 1 - 3 of about 148,000 with results 2 and 3 being 'Supplemental Result'. :D:D

yes, it comes back at times.
you need to change the content layout a bit and then make googlebot index those pages a couple of times and then they might change status.

are you sure, there are 200 k pages on original content.

This is not only happening to large sites. I got a site with about 300 hand-coded pages and it has gone supplemental now. First this site got killed in the Jagger update. It slowly came back in the early Big Daddy update and now this. My site has not been promoted in black hat SEO ways at all. It's a small community site about the town/city I live in.

Suppose my website has 1,00,000 pages with not totally unique content but i have different titles for all the pages, would my indexed pages go into supplement results ?

Google's algorithm is the key to their billions. They tweak it just a little bit, and droves of webmasters switch to Adwords.
