Is the itrader system going away? I think if the sytem is not supported or run properly there is no use for it and agree it should be removed. Its deinately not moderated and is not a good measure of anything here on DP. I had a member get upset that I had reported him for his post and he left negative feedback. I have 134 positive feedback and have never had negative and while the rules read (iTrader can only be given if a transaction took place and money changed hands (or if a transaction was setup to happen and someone backed out). iTrader given for reviews, given when no transaction was setup, etc. will be considered fraudulent and subject your account to immediate termination) the person was banned for breaking the rules however the itrader is still there . Anyhow I had heard it may be going away ..... thought I would check since its of no good use here anyhow.

Well, as far as I know, iTraders are going away and *probably* be merged with the new Instant Payment System ratings.

I sure hope they are not merged as the itrader results are fake and manipulated. Its much better if the system can prove there was a transaction.

Most definitely will never be merged. Would be pointless to merge them when the whole reason iTrader is going away is because we can't really truly monitor a transaction like we can with the instant payment system. Injecting a bunch of transactions into the instant pay system that we can't verify the authenticity of would make the new system rather pointless.
