Is it wise to have H1 header be a hot link

Is it wise to have an H1 header also be a hot link to pages within the same site that are optimized for the key words in the H1 text?

 

I think H1 links in general are a bad idea.

 

I agree with mdvaldosta. I doubt it's a very wise move. For some more input you could look at this thread.
