    Max

It is done through the AssociateOMatic script.

Whats cool is you can build many sites this way all focused on a niche if you care to find them

In my eyes I pull revenues from as many varied methods as possible, Services, Affiliate, Adsense, YPN, and Lead Generation.

If I had time I would do email marketing too.

    Peace

I've tried Amazon about four times and have yet to make a single $. With a one-day cookie, your visitors who are at first shopping around see that the products come from Amazon, and then go back directly to Amazon a few days later to buy - after the cookie has expired. Then, if they like Amazon, they'll go back to them many times in the future, with no reward to you. It's actually quite a clever marketing scheme by Amazon.

I use amazon on my movie forum and I list films on dvd & video. I have made quite a bit through it, actually enough that it has paid for my hosting so I think it is great!

Amazon used to be pretty poor -- It was hard work to create any kind of link, now with astore's things seem to be looking up...

You can visit my astore here to see what they look like...

    Certainly worth a go!

I posted about my store already

I have my Amazon store here Ipod Nano

But you can also use Overstock.com and make some nice sites as well

    Hardware

Kitchen Cabinets which is kind of a sub category of the hardware store above.

    :D
Hope you like and they give you ideas....

In the late 90's and up until three or four years ago I used to make decent money from Amazon, but they kept changing the rules and making it harder and harder to earn a reasonable commission. Eventually they just became more hassle then they were worth. I've pretty much eliminated all of my ads and links to them.

One big problem was that scammers were using spyware/adware software to subvert Amazon affiliate IDs with their own IDs reducing already dwindling revenues and Amazon showed no interest in doing anything about it.

I currently own an amazon store that does about 2k in sales (not commissions) per day, however to achieve that I have spent money on link building targetting specific products, probably more money than most people spent on their main sites. The key in my opinion is make a lot of niche stores and pay attention on your stats.
