    Hi all,

i have a specific doubt regarding the difference in .info and .com domain extensions, does the search engines gives any extra weightage to .com extensions or is it the same, since i find .info extensions to be much cheaper for registrations, does that mean the SEs dont give much importance to them

Some anwers can help me in registering .info and save few bucks:p

no difference as far as search engines concerns. The only difference is in how people perceive them.

I agree with hextra. No difference from the se point of view. the .com is going to get more type ins but as far as ranking, the extension doesn't matter that much

Price different is only because there is less demand, nothing to do with search engines. I don't think price will last for long.
