I need a webhost for a good cause

OK, so I was asked today to help with starting an anti-bullying website for my State by a friends cousin. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to provide good hosting (decent space, and bandwidth) for a good cause. I will add you to our footer of our site.

Is there anyone caring for that cause? Nobody? Not even your friend's cousin?
If one cannot fork out the $10 a month (maximum) then it is not a worthy cause for anyone I guess

We are running on a limited budget. Times are hard. 10 dollars is a lot to many people. I apologize.

 

Don't apologize, use free web hosts, blogger has unlimited bandwidth and surely many people use it successfully for blogs of all sizes, you can also sign up on wordpress.com it's also free.. When it comes to free web hosting there's always an option.. And $10 per month is not a lot to many people.. At least not for people who have enough free time to want a website made for them.

You don't plan on hosting your own stuff there too, right?

 

None of my stuff will be hosted there. I no longer have a personal website. Not sure how much Bandwidth I would assume maybe 200 gigs? I'm not even sure how secussfull this will become to determine. If it gets popular enough I would need a good amount. Maybe 10 gigs of space for now and 200 gigs of BW. Just assuming.

 

You're going to have to rethink that one I'm afraid. 200GB of bandwidth is not going to happen for free. If it gets "popular enough", you aren't going to need a good amount...you're going to have to monetize the site to pay for it.

 

Yeah I realize that lol. RIght now, I am using x10 hosting. It only gives me a gig of space. So like I said, anything is something to get us off the ground.

I dont plan on having adds unless its like affliates and that sort of thing.
