Hi friends, I have no experience of working for ClickBank. I know how to get the link etc. and start promoting for cj.com. But for CB. I have no idea. It is second time in 4-5 years, when I have become affiliate of CB. How to start with confidence? Thanks tony707
you can get ideas from this thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=889467 good luck with cb
I think it's a good idea to start with article marketing to landing pages. Starting with PPC is a good way to lose money fast. With article marketing to landing pages you can learn how to make sales without losing a lot of money. I would concentrate on just one or two ... or maybe three (at the most) niches. If you get yourself too scattered you may have a hard time making progress. I think it's a good idea to try to work in a niche you know something about. But you have to make sure the niche is profitable too... There has to be a decent CB product to promote of course! Really - you have a lot to learn - the only way to really learn is to get started ... trying different things.
I started also with clickbank not too long ago, the best way really is to jump right in. 1.Find a product to promote - study the niche. 2.Do plenty of article marketing.
Stick around the forum here for lots of guidance.. don't BUY ANYTHING until you get yourself into positivecashflow, unless you really think it will move you forward in your newfound business... Absorb, apply and ask questions on specific topics when you need to.. there are some great minds here at DP..all willing to help.. just be aware of what goes on around you Wishing you the greatest Jay
As well as writing articles and submitting to article directories with a link to your landing page, you could create a free squidoo 'lens' or 'hub' on hubpages and review the product(s). Explore the niche market your product is aimed at. Check out forums that potential buyers in the niche market go to. Read and learn what they are talking about, what language they use and then you will be able to see how the product you are promoting can solve a problem for them or give them something they want.
There is just one part of this I disagree with. I would buy a domain (go with a .com) and some cheap hosting. Put up maybe a wordpress blog on it. Then, all the links from your articles and content you put on your own domain are contributing to a long term asset for yourself. But yes, DP is a great learning environment.
