    ohh right. SOmeone needs to give you rep to see what you have. Now I have a red one, is there a way of removing it as I don't deserve any of them as they were for demonstartion purposes only?

    Yes, it can easily be removed. Follow the following steps exactly:

    1. Immediately stop posting on this thread about your red rep.
    2. Start posting actual contributions to DP
    3. Don't make dumb jokes (that's from personal experience)

    You will see your red disappear as soon as you follow those simple steps.

    P.S. if you reply to this, you have already failed #1.

    Wow! I guess I treated others very bad in this thread, I got a red rep too.

    Funny, my red reps are usually signed (examples: "ahole", "stupid", and "get a clue") by people I don't recognized their user name, but this time it was totally blank.

    Post informative or interesting posts or topics, and I gaurantee you will get your reputation back in order my friend. :)

    But to be honest, by creating threads like these, the user asking the question usually just ends up with a lot more red reps even though this is the proper forum to ask this kind of question. :p

    So I'd suggest taking the advice the other members gave you: keep quiet about your rep and just try to be a good member and you'll get green rep again! :)
