Holy crap, I just bought 4 more tonight. I know I will use one right away, but the other 3 were just too good to let go of!

 

haha...exactly my condition, last month, there was a promo offer at NP, where u cud get pretty cheap .info names (even cheaper than $2.88 )
In just 3 days, i regged 25+ domains, and then i was like, omg wht m i gonna do now?
Ive made a pact with myself now , id reg at the most 1 domain per week :|, atleast i hope so..lol

I have 35 which I bought in a burst of "inspiration" this time last year. They are up for renewal which makes for a painful decision time.

 

I bought many beautiful domain names after a long night of drinking. Unfortunately, the domain names just don't look as good in the morning.

I've never reached the heights of some of you guys who own 200 domains, because I buy from GoDaddy for $8.95 each...... Now if I knew where to get $3 domains from I'd probably go nuts

 

This has been a problem for me for far too long. About once a year I try to clean up my mess and get rid of some of the years excess purchases.

Notice the stages of my domain craze:
1) snatch domains like crazy throughout the year
2) start getting itchy to develop the domains (even if I bought them with no intentions whatsover, notice the desperation in my post as I have no idea what to do with the domain)
3) lose it and just decide to clean house

 

Same habit here... I got 5 Domains expiring this month ^_^

 

65 domains parked, 10 developed. yea I have a problem.

 

I've got 85 empty domains and I'm buying 10-12 more tonight. I have plans for every single one.. just not enough time to make them all

 

I started just recently buying domains but it's becoming addictive

 

I buy domains after I make a site.

Only have 2.

 

Personally I think it's a good habit to have. Domains are much like real estate.. theres a limited amount of it and everybody wants some

 

I used to think the same way. I've become more and more skeptical about buying up domain names unless I have a purpose for it. I've bought far too many that I never got around to developing and sold for chump change later on.

Who knows though...I may regret selling them in the future.

 

Before Adsense came along I let two domains expire. And, I even had good content for them! Now somebody else is raking in some good money from them

 

LOL!! I know what that's like. Though I was on the other end. A member here thought of a domain name, didn't get it, then the next day I got it! Now I'm making it and it's geting visitors with me hardly even trying to give it visitors!

 

A great example of why you don't blabber your plans all over the forum
