I'm currently running my forums on https with a self signed certificate (can't do normal http because my ISP blocks port 80)

Does using https or self signed certificates hurt your google serps in any way?

Wow, talk about spam. The only pupose of your post is obviously to drive up your post count. Thanks for contributing to the thread. Without your brilliant insight I would be lost.

Obviously my ISP doesn't block outbound port 80 traffic. They block the inbound traffic, preventing me from running a server.

Ok... Talk about ungrateful. One wonders why you would want to run a webserver on your pc.

And no. Im not spamming. Ive been here nearly 3 years. I think if i was spamming my post count would be in the thousands

And no worries I love giving my brilliant insight.
