Google now can read some type flash,

for most flash, google cannot read.
Donot use flash build website for SEO.

You may add some contents near the flash when necessary.

now a days Flash is also SEO friendly & most of the SE i.e. Google has quite considered Flash site. Therefore u hv to build yr site from some type of coding that google can consider to it & using such image alt tags attribute on yr flash elements. Bt that's right that now Flash site is SE friendly.

Use flash as you like. Create content and links and all the stuff you want. If you have the info is good enough. Still, I just trust a plain html page more...

Don't use full flash. Use it for the design and create a separate html version for your content.

When you say you have a Flash page - do you mean that the whole page is in flash, or just some parts ??

For the main content of your site, I would suggest avoiding Flash. Use it for your headers, images and menus if you want, but the main text of the site would work best for you SEO wise if it were in html.

Also, if you are making your menus in Flash, its good practise to also provide a text link for your pages as well. I usually place these at the bottom of a page if my menu is done using images.

Google can read flash, this is known since 2004. The thing is that the links in flash do not pass importance or PR.

DO onething, create a simple HTMl page with an option for a flash version and HTML version of your site. Let google read your HTMl site and readers can choose flash....

Google dosnt read flash so you will have to externally reference the flash file. That will do it since the code is lighter thatway.
