How to Get Top Position @ Google

    Hi to all the Members of DP !

    I am here again to start this thread, first check out this thread, Sole purpose to this thread to get everyone opinion and effort that how much time they have taken to get top position(Top 10 or so) in search engine?

    I launched my website and after the above referred thread worked a lot to get on top in my selected keywords,

    1. my keyword and here is the google result Results 1 - 10 of about 725,000 for my keyword. My website is in Top-10

    2. my keyword and here is the google result Results 1 - 10 of about 45,500,000 for my keyword. My website is in Top-10

    3. my keyword and here is the google result Results 1 - 10 of about 1,130,000 for my keyword. My website is in Top-10

    All this I got is in just one month (yeph really just in 30-days):)

    What I did ?

    Very simple I followed each and every advice referred this thread.


    Finally, all the members are requested to share their suggestions, opinions and efforts to get top positions in search engines. So that other can get benefit of this.

    Hi jani01,

    I'm just curious what exactly you did and whose advice you followed. There were some conflicting opinions and I actually posted myself in that thread.

    I think you are getting too optimistic: I have checked right now in Google.com and found your site in the 24TH position and your PR is 0/10

    In the other hand, you should not go to extremes:

    If you choose a highly competitive keyword you won´t ever get at the top of Google (example "Hotel")

    But if you choose a too much specific keyword with very little or none competition you probably get immediately at Google No 1, but you won´t have traffic at all, because nobody look for that keyword.

    So, I think you should find a balance somewhere in the middle, get more patient and have most common sense. Sites that get rocket to the top of Google in a short time (with the exception of Twitter and a couple more), they fall down with the same speed
