Hello to all DP Members, I am member of DP for a short time and learning a lot form this great forum. purpose of this thread that I have launched my new website and after carefully have selected a keyword. I am also submitting my new site to High PR Directories and also doing blog comments etc. My question is that how I can get my website with my selected keyword at top positions of Search Engines. All the SEO experts are requested to kindly advise me and make suggestion to get my goal.
your keyword is very important. if it is "hotels", do not try. if a simpyle keyword: - try to submit your website to dmoz.org - try to get visitors from other websites instead of google, - use social bookmarking(digg, stumble, mybloglog) - create vidoes and submit them to youtube, metacafe, etc, - do not get too many backlinks i a short time, - do not use blog commenting a lot, - try to create really helpful content, - give links to other valuable websites, - use google webmaster tools, - do not use google analytics, - wait.
I have already submitted my site to dmoz.org Visitors are also from different IPs and countries also submitted to social bookmarking and will continue created videos and submitted to youtube, matacfe, dailymotion, myspace etc. my site backliks are almost 150 I make comments almost 10 per day also trying to get link exchange using google webmaster tool. But I am really confused about your suggestion of do not use GA . will you kindly explain in detail? Further my site is Music Search Engine, offering mp3 download, youtube videos download, Orkut Scraps (Graphics Greetings), Actress photo gallery and wallpapers and also online tv streaming etc. Waiting for more expert openions.
Just continue doing what you are doing. Make sure your site has good on page factors for your selected keyword and off page factors with high PR. The most important concept that most marketers disregard is time. Just give your site some time to rank higher. In the beginning, it seems that your site is going down in rank, but after time it will be on page one. Make sure to update your blog at least once a week to prevent your site from being sandboxed.
I was kind of curious as why not use use GA also? I highly doubt Google penalizes you for using their tools. I would think it would be the other way around. Unless someone has something to hide of course. I would stay away from link exchanges. They do nothing for you and put you at risk of linking to someone you shouldn't. One way links is what you want. Just keep doing what you are doing. For those niches it will take some time.
key of success is to analyze your competitors...what they have and u don't.u must know to look on proper way but that come with time.
I have never had any problemns with GA, and infact you can use GA to get your site crawled within 24 hrs and indexed within 72hr(depending on type of website), though if you use GA and you have subdomains or multiple domains, the GA will allow google to link the accounts...hence use mutliple accounts or do not use ga when you are using duplicate content
Hi, what if you work with a company to help your website? I know communitybuilder.com helps people get their websites on top
do we know the website and the keyword. Because if you choose a keyword that has too much competition you will never reach your goal!
Do off page optimization. article, directory submissions blog and forum posting. press release and social bookmarking( recent visitors)
your keyword is good as it does have a good number of popularity and competition...continue link building your site with that keyword but do not over do it...do not spam sites just to link build...make sure that you link to related websites...and BE PATIENT...results will not turn out overnight...
you need to do the following things in order to be on top of SERP 1. Links 2. Links 3. Links Finally, my special advice to you is Links
Its not how much but its how many, am i right? No exact number depends on how many you can generate in one day and you need to get real quality links. also avoid getting into the bad neighborhood, if you know what i mean
