How to create affiliate websites that rock—a brand new web design tool

Imagine a drawing tool that lets you easily sketch out a concept for a new webpage design, and then, when you're done, takes that sketch and automatically turns it into a real, functioning website.

I'm the founder of a company that's been working towards that vision, and we're launching our tool right NOW!

Its called Siteswish and with it you can create affiliate sites that standout from the competition.

It gives you the power to design and create sites yourself rather than hiring someone else to do it for you, allowing you to express your own vision, and giving you control over the final outcome.
Siteswish pages are fully customizable, created from the ground-up, no templates involved and no coding knowledge required.

Making websites this way is faster and easier than going manual with html, css and photoshop, so you can create a bunch of different designs and test to see which work best, or simply create more pages to market more products.

Creating and publishing pages is FREE, so if you're in need of a webpage to market an affiliate product, or looking just looking for a better way to create websites in general, check out www.siteswish.com.

You can run Siteswish in your browser (need to download the desktop version if/when you're ready to publish).
On the site you can see a few example pages created with Siteswish, and a short slide presentation demonstrating it in action.

I'd love to hear some feedback from DPers, so if you check it out, please post your thoughts here.
It would also be cool if you included a link to a page you created!

Here are two example snaps (visit www.siteswish.com to see the html renditions)

On the front page it says "Get started - It's FREE to create and publish." Then when I click on Download I see this: "The price will be $199 (per user), but because we've just launched and we want a way to say "thank you" to our first customers, we're running a limited time offer—if you purchase now its just $149."
    Which part is free?

    upprup, maka1111,
Thanks for the the kind feedback, glad you like it :)

    swollenpickles,
Everything is free EXCEPT for the ability to save pages in a format that allows you to come back and edit those pages again at a later date.
So you can create pages, with the full functionality available, and then publish them to HTML for free.

For many people looking for a simple way to create pages, this all they'll need.

Those who want to have the option to come back and edit a page again later, without having to recreate the page from scratch (which doesn't take all that long for a simple page), will need to purchase a license.

We envisage that most people will be happy using the free version, and a percentage of more serious users will opt to pay to save the hassle of having to recreate their pages whenever they want to edit them.

Cool thanks Ben. The wording was a little confusing, that's all.

Thanks Ben, I bookmarked it. I'll have to give it a try later as I am pretty new at web design and trying to create a few affiliate sites myself. Good luck!

    Essociate,
Thanks, glad you like it :)

    swollenpickles,
Yeah, I think I could improve on the wording a little. I made a small change to the front page. We'll see how that goes for now. Thanks for pointing it out.

    AMFM,
Great, feel free to pop back with your thoughts after you've tried it :) (and thanks for your PM, I'll get back to you later, just a little tied-up right now)

UPDATE: We've just launched an affiliate program.

ben, a quick question. I downloaded ur app and seen it works ok. didnt play around much but wondering your app will create HTML pages or some proprietary code not editable otherwise?

    Hi godmode,

The 'publish' button will create HTML pages, compatible with IE6/7, Firefox, Safari and Opera.
Siteswish can't load HTML pages for editing however. If you buy a license, you can save it in a proprietary format, and come back and make changes anytime. Just creating and publishing a quick page to HTML is free, however.

    edit:
I should add, you can also embed custom HTML code, if you need to insert tracking codes, or a form, etc.
Is this why you were asking?

    UPDATE:

I've just released version 1.0, and dropped the price from $199 to $99 to make it affordable to a greater number of people.

In additional, to celebrate the release of v1.0, I'm running a HALF PRICE special. For today only, its just $49!

So take advantage of it while you can!

(note: creating and publishing pages with the demo version is still free, of course)
