I got a very good click from somewhere and ECPM is quite high and I got 15.9$ for that click, is that abnormal?
Well if that's only a few page impressions and one click for $15, then yeah the ECPM is going to be exceptionally high. Not usually something to worry about I think, just hope that you get more traffic.
thanks as i am afraid of adsense system error and intended to report to adsense team, okie, it is fine now
No, it isn't abnormal... the $15.9 is calculated not only with the ECPM factor but also the amount bid for the keyword clicked.. You must have been so lucky to have a keyword that high in bids around your site.
I suggest using channels more on your adsense so you would know which channel or part of your site gets more ECPMs and bigger earnings... that's where possibly the high keywords are and so you may improve your Adsense positioning in that channel.
$15.9 a click must be excellent niche Max per click i have heard on this forum is around $28 so your just fine
eCPM is not a very useful measurement. It causes more excitement than it deserves. When you get a huge eCPM, it usually results from one good paying click and a high CTR (one click and only a few impressions). In the case of the orginal poster, IF he got the same high CTR, and IF he got 1000 clicks, and IF each click paid $15.90, then he would make $190,007. Not likely to happen, however, because he probably won't get 1000 clicks, won't maintain the high CTR, and won't make $15.90 on each click. Therefore, the eCPM reported for the one click is not much use. BTW, the highest pay for a single click that I've seen on this forum is mine, reported here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=425316 There could be higher ones, but I've never seen them reported.
