Got a single click today for $55.12. Previously, about 8 months ago, got a $38 click, and before that my record was a $13 click from a couple of years ago. I've had a fair number of $12-$15 clicks since then. [not all on same page - different pages] The page is one that only gets a few hits a day. It had one click for 6 impressions at the time I checked early in the morning. I don't know exactly what the ad was but normal PPC for that page is about $0.48. Keywords for this page are not on typical "high paying keywords" lists. Anybody else got high single click PPCs?
Sure. It's about cars and financing methods. Not a real specialized niche. And it's a content site, with lots of content pages. It's not a blog, not a forum, or a MySpace page.
That's my thought too because it (the record PPC for one click) always happens early in the morning. Apparently, the same ad never appears on my page again during that day because I would notice it in the averages.
Cograts ! but one of those Adwords n00b gonna have a shock of his life today when he finds out his mistake. lol
I have had some in the range of 5-10 dollars last year, and this year only around 1-3 in my high tier sites. nothing like 55/click
That is a very highly competitive niche, but I'm not sure if that market can support that extremely high click price. Bravo by the way.
