I often wonder how much the average unique visitor is worth. I did a quick calculation based on my total revenue and daily unique visits for November and December 2005. Calculation used: Total Revenue / Unique daily visitors = Value per unique The result: On average a unique visitor is worth $0.07 US to me. It would be interesting to see what the trend for this is. Care to share yours? Disclaimer: This is by no means a conclusive way to determine what a unique visitor is worth. One visitor might be more valuable than others by viewing more pages etc. It's just a fun way to see what your visitors might be worth and how it compares with other sites.
Depends on which of my sites. I make $40 per month with one of my sites. Does that mean each visitor is worth $1.333 ?
Most of my money comes from affiliate programs. I just checked and last month my visitors are worth 0.02666667 cents.
I checked two websites, one very small with less then 100 visitors so far this month and is making 8 cents per visitor. Another much larger site makes .05 cents per visitor. I hadn't looked at the revenue in that manner for quite a while, so thanks for joggin' the brain a little...
