    their is no such limit as far as i am concerned
    however, you might find your post count decreasing by days if you are just posting one liners and/or meaningless replies just for the sake of increasing your post count
    read the thread and reply only if you think you have something useful to share and that's pretty much all about your question

    Why is everyone repeating the same answers? That itself is considered spam.

    And I will quote Shawn here:

    Keep your posts on-topic and to the point, and you will have no problems at all with infractions or bans. Also, as long as the products you are promoting aren't illegal and abide by the signature rules and FAQ, that is fine.

    If your post is in reply then it should be relevant answer, If you are starting new thread it should be genuine and not for advertising only then you can post as much as you can.

    As my experience says, i open a forum normally two times in a week and post 3-4 genuine comments and sign out. And never I felt any difficulty in doing that from two long years :)
