I searched for it but I am not renowned for my searching skills :p
But I am renowned for my odd questions ... some of my friends can actually confirm this !!!

How is rep calculated ? How many points does one give or take away ?
Is everyone equal when it comes to passing rep points ? how about when taking away points (bad rep) ?

Of course not!!! I have experienced it ... is there a formula for this though ??
    Just curious !!!

Also 10 is the maximum number of rep points that can be given out in one go.

I will have to disagree with you on this ... I just received about 46 points from 3 people ... hence the reason of rep calculations concerns, and this thread ... I think moderators are special in rep giving ... and can give more points

There's something wrong what you're seeing.

10 is max. no. of points, I receive and max. I can see is 10.
