Oh, Goggle, don't mind him. Google doesn't really prefer one platform over another. It's about how you optimize it, although it's true that Wordpress has some good SEO (especially with the All-In-One SEO Plugin. I use it myself).

Basic spam practices , irritating to others at best, don't do this other than as an experiment

I'm not agreed with your that point (Suggestion: You can use ISnare to automatically distribute your articles to hundreds of directories. http://www.plr-niches.com/presents/isnare.htm)
Do you think it will be work? if you are submit your one articles in 500 or 1000 directories then according to me it will be the part of spamming. I think it will be much better if your are searched some good article directories like Ezine and submit on it, remember one thing there is much different between quality and quantity. or if you still doing this then hope you get the ranking is well but it will be the short terms optimization.
    Overall nice post

Its just basic premises. Use your creativity and imagination. Article Submission is powerful! Submitting to hundred to thousands of directory can be spamming BUT, if you will rewrite your article into hundred of different variations, now it become a very good SEO for your main site

I advise against using hyphens. Google definately consider two hyphens in a domain name as spammy.

This also goes for image names. Drop the hyphens! They are not necessary.

There's nothing intrinsically spammy about this. If the keyword / domain name chosen is relevant to the content, it is to some extent what you're supposed to do, good seo practice ia about making sure that search engines know what your site is about - and giving a clear consistent message in domain names, titles, headers and anchor texts (which doesn't mean always using the same keyword, but keeping it all 'on-message')
The key to the OP's tip is the comparatively low search volume of the keyword - it will work with a good long-tail, but the thing to bear in mind is that there's no point in appaearing on spot 1 page 1 for a term that nobody ever searches for.

Nope. You got it all wrong. Google CANNOT separate 2 words therefore reading it as 1 word. Using hyphen is totally a legit and clever way to let G read your keywords right. Its NOT spammy. Though you need to limit hyphens to up to 2 only.

It doesn't, that's an invalid statement. Google does not prefer wordpress over anything else. What it does prefer is a properly coded site with some good content, and lots of quality backlinks.

For 100.000 competing websites, I have enough websites to provide oneway link :) to any new site.. But this is good for starters

SEO really hard to master even the what we called "guru" sometimes cannot make it to top spot for their sites. Its the irony of what they been doing. :)

I beg to disagree. I dont think SEO is hard to master. One word I can define SEO is REPUTATION. The very basic foundation is to let search engines know who you are. You can only do it if you know their language and grammar. Once you know how to speak to them, its a matter of time before they believe what youre saying is for real. Once they confirm that you are who you claim to be, they will place you on the right position where you deserve. Of course this doesnt happen to all since I have saw sites ranking because or mere luck and chance
