Matt Cutts Blog was very interesting that he posted today.

I could be wrong. So with that in mind, not all content will be picked up. But from my understanding, you shouldn't have the content on more than 2 - 3 sites. 5 is really pushing it. I am sure others will have a different number.

Btw Gypsy - loved the song and gave you a big ole rep for that. Had to go get some Iced cold Lemonade.

    aawww sheeeucks

..anyhoo... G has never shown accurate BL numbers as we know,. I believe showing a few more is simply a ploy to get more folks signed up to G tools ( big daddy wants your data people)

All that means as their only showing backlinks they have picked up. Some are devalued and others worth NOTHING... so it tells you very little about your TRUE Link Profile status

Good Lord how I miss the days when we could just build websites and not worry about how google (or any other corporation) was gonna view every page, link, and word of content. People aren't even building websites anymore. We're building "google approved" sites.

I'll be so happy when google gets better SE competition.

Strangely those days never left... you are free to. SEO is only for those that WANT SE traffic really.... they have a nifty 'noindex/nofollow' tag for those not interested....

I have TOS and other factors that must me bet with my companies.. why shouldn't they? It's certainly not a PUBLIC SERVICE.. lol

I said Google has been getting better at filtering duplicate content. I didn't say they were perfect.

Your example doesn't disprove my observation. It just demonstrates that the duplicate content filters don't catch everything - and they never will.

I've provided a glaring example of Big G rewarding content theft. Perhaps you can enlighten us with evidence of why you think G is improving ;)

Let's just say that Google is getting better about it, but they aren't there yet. I know some extreme examples of dupe sites both getting rewarded from G. I won't elaborate though.
