Google vs Facebook -2020

I think facebook ll surely beat google, whats your opinion ?

I guess you never know really anything could happen. Then, there is the whole Google buying everything it can find that will help keep the popularity and make them money. I prefer google over facebook by a long shot right now. But, who knows about the rest of the world. I think google is feeling a little heat from facebook and will do just about anything to make sure they stay ahead of them. My opinion is Google will still be on top in 2020.

 

Well I guess they both are completely different sites than each other and cannot be compared. One is a search engine and other is a social networking site, so there is no way anyone of them can overtake the other one.

i agree facebook becoming popular day by day but when thing came for search engine, google will be always #1

According to me,

Facebook is day by day becoming more popular but it won't be ahead of Google.
First of all , I would like to tell you that both are very different .
Facebook is a social networking site whereas Google is an information site.
Facebook has craze on the people for a small period of time and after that it becomes slight boring but whenever we want to search any information we prefer to use Google.
So , I think that Facebook can never exceed Google.

Facebook is trying to upgrade the way people search for things by moving from a page value ranking to a human value ranking. I think this is interesting but it will to be improved so it can work right.

dont compare google with facebook, google its a search engine, and facebook is social networking site.

 

Google is the best search engine still now. and facebook is the best social network still now. both has different competitive strategy. but there is a rumor someday ago fb will shut down such thing carries bad impression on fb. the big G everyday try to do something different. this factor is a plus point for Google. if we talk about 2020 surely there will be real tough competition between big two giants company.

For those of you saying they serve two very different purposes, can you be sure?

Google has been known for attempting to break into the social media field. Buzz comes to mind, along with Groups, orkut, etc.

FaceBook is now integrating real search results into their system, including interfacing with Wikipedia for pages.

The real question is simply who can do the other's service better, and how soon they can.

 

For now Google win in my eyes. Maybe later on Facebook will greatly expand and thus win. But for now, Google

 

I think FaceBook is way over-rated. It doesn't offer that many services compared to google. Google also has a lot more employees than FB. I think that google will try and create a social network of their own and because of there vast amount of resources they have, it can grow rapidly and overtake FB. Google can implement maps, products, gmail, documents, web search, youtube, adsense, adwords, and more into a social network if they decide to come out with one. Also don't forget of the possibility of Google buying FB over like they did Youtube and many others. I think Google wins hands down.

 

I believe that GG is not so easily replaced~~~

 

I hope also. Because facebook is bookmarking site. As people increasing day by day and being aware of internet using so that use of facebook also increasing.
