    Sure it is for a search term thats totally pointless and wont send you any traffic, if you want to rank #1 for a search term that is of some use and will send you a deasent amount of traffic then you have lots of work ahead of you.

    It's pretty easy with not too competitive terms...but just for a few days, sometimes weeks, but then it's back to playing with the kids for months. Getting a top ranking for a short time is pretty easy, staying there long term is the hard part.
