Future Google PageRank

I occassionally check my site's listing in dmoz and the Google Directory. Many weeks before the last PR update, the google directory was showing a different PR than the toolbar was. After the PR update, the toolbar PR was changed to match the google directory PR.

Do you think the Google Directory gets PR updates more frequently than the toolbar? Do you think you can accurately predict toolbar PR from the Google Directory weeks in advance?

I sure hope so. My PR has already been bumped up in the directory. Hopefully toolbar PR will be changed to match in the next update.

In all liklihood, yes

 

Yes I've seen this several times now, Directory PR seems to be ahead of the toolbar. One thing to note however is the difference in scales.
