    yea,wordpress is the best IMO
    easy to use ..
the revenue depends on ur sites..if u have a forum like dp ,i'm sure that u can make much more than the blog

Naah, If you can manage to grow a forum big and have active users it WILL generate more revenue then a weblog.

weblog is the simple way to a small revenue.
Forum is the hard and complicated way to high revenue.

I'd say a blog is easier to get initial revenue from, but like SNap3 says, a large forum with many active posters would probably yield a higher return.

And like daworm says, dont go for one or the other, have both. I have a site with both a forum and a blog along with a main site so I am hedging my bets.

YPN gives higher revenue then AdSense :)

I have a forum with 40 active members. I have generated alot more revenue then I ever thought was possible with that size.
Im not using YPN or Adsense!

I guess it all depends how popular they are. Thre are some blogs making a ton of money and so are forums. Both can earn bi, but I guess a blog is alot easier to manage. A forum needs to have alot of work done to get it off the ground.

blog is easy to index and have simple page. forums contains all those dynamic pages.

so weblog is better. but for a community forum is better.

i have't tried to make a forum yet but i hope that can surely produce more than a blog if i can have many active members; WordPress is no doubt the best for blogging!

Depending on the subject (of course) why not do BOTH and cross promote?

I do think both can do equally well, although forums are more difficult to get started. if you go there --go BIG or go HOME--not worth it otherwise in my opinion.

    Only 40 members?
    Yahoo pays more?
Are you prepared to reveal your earnings?
