lol, this is a little bit out of context though. Here is what YOU pmed me: "I need to add a logo in 2 pics and those pics into a .swf file...and I have a 4 usd budget..." I don't actually charge per hour, but per projects, but in your case I didn't even know what to reply. You are asking me to do whatever job, which will still require me to run my PC, having the necessary softwares that costs an arm and a leg, and last but not least the skills required to do the job, which you call "easy" but obviously can't do yourself. And you expect me to pay for my time, the electricity, the taxes etc....with 4 dollars? You must be joking... In fact, I have been nice enough to give you the link to the "freebies" section, where your request belongs. So that you understand, I consider your proposition as a lack of respect, hence my reply.
Sorry but its a 20 minutes job. I always pay this to my designer, its a pitty now he's on vacation. Anyway if you have an hour fee you have to write it on your post so the people, dont waste their time contacting you.
I think you're upset because I gave you a link to the freebies section I think my first post implied I had a bit of experience, and nowwhere it says I do banners for $5. There is nothing wrong with working cheap, I have done it when I first came here, and did a few jobs for nothing to build my portfolio and get iTraders. I aim at creating more complex applications, and all my clients are happy with my service as well as my quotes. So, due to the work load, I never charge less than a fair hourly rate which I think is $30/h, even if it is to put toothpaste on your brush, because you can't do it. That said, you come here after writing 37 posts in 2 1/2 years asking me to do a job for $4, like you're the king around and your designer is on vacation. I wonder where he went with $4, do you mean he's having a beer in the garden? So you have been around for more than 2 1/2 years, cleverly acomplishing your business plan as we can see, with that method? Good luck with your plan!
I cracked up laughing when I read this! I pay $20 a month for a tech team and I still prefer my $1 programmers! Sorry though, I only buy work with no quality ;D Rep added OP!
