FF as favorite (extensions, simply my friend)... but I also use Opera and IE. Opera is getting better and better by the way. Worth trying if you never used it.

It's amazing how ppl still open such debate about FF VS IE

how can your compare the sun light to the moon light ?

ofcourse the moon gets light from the sun and that's the case ;)

i'll lease your imagination to assign sun and moon to FF and IE :p

I've tried IE, Firefox, Opera, Netscape, a bunch of others. I only use IE. I dont like browsers that try to do everything. And none of the FF extensions interested me.

firefox, however i have recently had some major problems with it.

Opera seems to be better in many ways though and is just lacking the ability to utilize after market addons (extensions). Their widgest suck.. and IE, well they suck too i need tabbed browsing.. plus again they need better after market addons.

Fire is my all time favorite. IE was not doing bad untill FireFox came on to the scene. Microsoft IE lost its way when Mozilla introduced "Tabbed Browsing" in its legendry FireFox browser. I personally think microsoft should have emphasized on IE's own features, rather than copying FF's feature of tabbed browsing.

as i said earlier on a post in this topic

FF is the sun and IE is the moon

IE is just the reflection ;) not the light source

I'll take FireFox seriously as soon as they fix the cache problem that has existed for years.

I think google is footing that bill are they not?

Also, when you install FF, there are some pre-loaded favorites, like CNN - I wonder if the some or all of the 10 or so pre-loaded sites pay for that?

the only thing that i don't like about firefox is that it uses too much memory

sometimes it gets to 200MB and i've to restart it every 3-60 mins to avoid this

this being said, i love the extensions - endless possibilities ^^^
