    Do you know which products you want to sell? if yest then you need to find the manufacturers or whole seller who will drop ship the prodcuts. In that case you could look into some souce. I would recommend worldwidebrand.com , a lots of products and drop shippers are listed in their site.

    if you do dot have the products then you could find drop shippers in that case I also recommend worldwidebrand.com. Pick some products , do some market research whether there is any real chance for success with the products.

    What is the difference/advantages/disadvantages between selling products to drop ship on Ebay, versus hosting your own site?

    I personally think by hosting your own site you can have a much larger profit margin. People can find you via search engines and never think about visiting Ebay to find the same product $10 cheaper. On Ebay your competition is much stiffer.
