Paypal won't refund my money because their claim proces only apply to "shipment of goods" and this is a service not a tangible goods.

    this is paypal answer:

Our investigation into your claim is complete. As stated in our User
Agreement, the claims process only applies to the shipment of goods. It
does not apply to complaints about the attributes or quality of goods
received. Therefore, we are unable to reverse this transaction or issue a
    refund.

So this scamer will walk away with my 145$ now.

I can't believe what is happening here.
    just can't believe.

    Mr. Nemanja

I am a directory submitter. I have closely observed all the things related to this work and now I am expert in this. Yes, many directories don't sent you a mail even. The ratio of directories which sent you mails is 50 % to 60 % and also factors effecting that ratio is in which directories is he submitting your link.

Nemanja - that is extremely cheap for 11k of submissions. I am only guessing here but they are probably using the same anchor text and description of a very limited number of the same anchor text and descriptions. It will end up amounting to just a bunch of duplicate content submitted across a bunch of free directories - most of which will never even approve them. Most directories dislike auto submitters with a passion. Most likely scenario would be they get deleted or will sit in their pending ques forever.

You are also over estimating the service level you will receive from free directories. They are FREE so expecting notifications every step of the way or anything at all may be expecting too much. You may be lucky to get 1k of actual approved listings across that 11k submit package. That is not even taking into account the low quality level of those 1k which actually do approve the submits or how many of those 1k free directories will be around a year from now.

You are better off spending your time and resources looking for quality listings in quality directories. imo

    Hi Nemenja,

Well I would like to throw highlight here so far and my views as well :-

1.) There is difference between Search Engine and Directory

2.) Mostly Directories send Email confirmations (As People said about 60% send)
I would say put the Max / Min limits to justify things both ways YOU and Service provider
It really depends on directory owner if he or she has turned on email confirmation

Say Min Limit : 30% and Max Limit : 60%

So basically Out of 2000 : Minimum You should have received 600 Emails from 2000 Directories
Or Out of 2000 : Maximum You should have received 1200 Emails from 2000 Directories

3.) As of the DP member said that there are not Enough WORKING Directories floating on the net. And my experience also says and agrees to above people, You would be able to find 2000 to 3000 Working Directories only. 11k is IMPOSSIBLE I challenge anyone if they are pure directories, they can be search engines

4.) Now there many many possibly 10k 20k and even more uncountable scripts hosted as Search Engines and these listings never or mostly dont send the email confirmations OK. they are plenty in numbers

5.) Difference between Submitting to Directory and Search Engine

If you must have seen the typical PHP/MySQL scripts for directories and Search engines floating around are same . Usually all or most of directories ask for following while submission
    1.) URL
    2.) Title
    3.) Category
    4.) Description
    5.) Keywords
    6.) Sub category if any
    And CAPTCHA if any

And after you submit you receive an email notification

Typical Search Engine submission entries which based on SCRIPTS (Not to talk about top 25 or 100 google, yahoo, msn etc , they are not counted)

Usually this bulk number of 10k search engines ask for
    1.) URL
    2.) Email

You can easily make out based on it whether its a directory script or search engine script

And mostly 1% or maximum 10% of this bulk search engines sent email confirmation
So they usually don't send it at all as the script dont support and most of them have same

As Most of DP friends who pointed out that email will only come out if its directory who is really Honest in this business will not offer more then 3k submission as WORKING REAL DIRECTORIES are only that numbers OK

Rest all are Search Engines, So you need to be clear next time when you ask for a service "IS IT DIRECTORY SUBMISSION or SEARCH ENGINE "

And yes its worth submitting to directories and not search engines

Infact I would say TOP 100 Search engines would be enough
Or to be more precise TOP 25 to be enough such as google, yahoo, msn, lycos, altavista, ask, askjeeves, alltheweb etc..

In fact I would say not even top 25, TOP 10 should be enough

Also ask answer yourself how many search engines you use 3 or 4 ? I never use more then 4
    YAHOO
    GOOGLE
    MSN
    ALLTHEWEB

    Thats all

But Yes Directory submission are worth upto and upto 3k only

    Thanks,

Thank you all for the reply..

Yes I know what I can expect from that kind of links, I'm in the SEO business for about 8 years...

I have ordered 11000 manual dir submissions (not search engine submissions) from that guy and this is the thread:
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1185358

    This is my best part:
    Professionalism

    High Quality Service

    Great Customer Support

    Satisfication Guaranteed

    100% Manual Directory Submission Service

    ------------------------------------------------------

I have submited my site manualy to quality dirs over 3 months time preiod as i have wrote that before...

The quality and other factors here are irelevant, the number of submission done here is the issue.

I will be very happy if I get 500 backlinks from that submission after a few months if they submitted my site to 110000 dirs, but they wouldn't submit my site to 110000 maybe 1000-2000 dir tops and I will end up with only 50-100 backlinks after a few months and this is not what I have paid for...

So this is the problem here...

Show me exactly where you were 'attacked'

Read this thread. Look at the advice others have given towards the amount of emails that will be received.

You can resent me all you want, however, find your proof before crying wolf, as I never attacked anyone.

So with that being said, let me now present you with what people of today really need form an internet perspective from time to time, to wake them up out of their coma.

    Now snap out of it!

(p.s - looking at the thread you cited on hyper, he was correct, in that, you were in FACT spamming the thread)

There's an old saying in my country, in free translation would be something like this:
"Man learns while alive and dies stupid"

After all of these years I still get scamed,
but I hope that bad karma will catch him eventualy, when he is least expecting...
