    Hi all,

I'm wondering if theres a generic formula to be used when creating a custom affiliate link? For eg, I have a couple of affiliate that have links to certain pages and products on there website. I would like to create an affiliate link to a different page though which is not listed in CJ. How can I achieve this? I tried messaging the affiliates asking them this, but they're not responding. D

    Thanks

The affiliate may frown on you sending someone to a page that they do not have a link for... I wanted to do that with one of my affiliates and asked if there would be an issue.

They told me that I could not do that and still expect to get paid.

In general, I think CJ is not good at letting people create deep links. Link Share is much better on that front.

    Hello,

CJ use cookies to track commission. The page you land on has no importance as your referred user will browse the whole site anyway and won't in all cases purchase the product you where initially promoting. He can even close it and get back another time and purchase.
I don't think having deep linking would make any trouble.
But I advice to carefully read the TOS of ANY program you join EVERY TIME you do so.

    To your success!
