Hey would you look at that, the settlement is going through my company, well not my company but I do data entry for them here in portland. I will ask my boss for more info. Since he is the king of cool and knows more cases than a stack of books at a lawyers office. Any whoo if you have specific questions please write to the po box I might be the one opening your letter!
i don't think it is real because about 3 years ago i have receive same type of mail against yahoo. that mail also have same type of lawsuit against yahoo search marketing, but i have not got nothing not even a letter about that lawsuit again.
I got it just now, on my first thought i was pretty much scared I thought Cj is going to take me to court but looks like it's my TURN to fight CJ hehe! I don't even care, thanks for the letter though
See http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1025375 . He's talking out of his ass. This thread has nothing to do with lead shaving, and CJ has no fault in what he's talking about.
I have not received that message by email but by postal card. The Settlement Recovery Center sending me postcard directly to my home address. And still dont know what should to do. Join or Not?? Or just let it down
I received a card and I live outside the US. I might have signed on, otherwise they wouldn't know my address but I can't remember this. I never received money and I wouldn't know what to expect with settlements? Does this mean that we are liable for something (stealing software) and have to pay? Is this legal or is this spam?
No, it's not about anything that you did. If you never made any money with CJ, then you will get no money from the settlement. You can just ignore it.
Yes they don't have any affiliation with CJ/ValueClick they are court appointed or CJ hired them to be a third party with no affiliations. Company's name is Epiq Systems. It is a good company. google them read all you can!
Is it ok if I just ignore this letter? It says "if you do not exclude yourself from the class, you will be bound by the settlement's terms". What does that mean exactly? I've never earned anything from CJ but was a member. I want to ignore the letter, but I don't want to be bound to any settlement terms, whatever they may be.
It does mean if you are not exclude, you will be a part of this story and lawyer will act in your behalf. All things he said and do are under your behalf.
