CJ shaves. I did a little test to see. 3 out of 13 sign-ups showed up. These 13 people were my close friends who signed up so I know they were valid. I was so mad that I started thinking about a lawsuit. I later calmed down and realized I didn't have the money to go against them. TIP: If you have a site that looks like you don't know what you're doing - be careful. They prey on less knowledgable people who first join CJ and don't know much about what they're doing or even what "Shaving" is. I know that I should of showed 13 sign-ups though, not 3. F*** CJ.
CJ does not shave. CJ makes its fees by earning 30% on top of whatever commissions an advertiser pays you. If anything is not showing up, that means that the advertiser was not showing CJ's pixel all of the time (and thereby shaving). I work with advertisers on managing CJ programs (and I'm an affiliate as well for other advertisers), so I know damn well how the system works. What advertiser is this? What is their lead criteria? If your leads don't meet the advertiser's qualifications for a lead, then they don't have to pay.
I doubt CJ shave too. Especially when they are supposed to show 3 leads instead of 13. This sounds silly. Such a trusted company wouldn't take such a risk, and they make tons of cash anyway, so there is no reason why they would risk the company to increase their profits.
