I am thinking of putting out a cheap solution for the Deeplinking mod requests, sor of like a copy and paste for users who wish to have deep linking for a lot less than $100. How many people would be interested?
Thats really nice of you. But I would like to know the following answers first--- 1) Will you provide -- 365x24 --Customer support? 2) With regular upgrade coming up from David --(phpLD) --will you provide follow-up upgradation of your mod FREE? 3) I am a technical dumb and will need very regular --help -regarding installation and others. Will you provide all the support? I'll comment on your questions after getting answers to my questions. Thanks
yeah i have the same questions because i am not an expert with php and java scripts Great: i got a red rep from somebody very kind here who said "Are you kidding me"
Im interested anyway, costs me nothing to announce my interest, i look forward to you telling more here about it. Thanks
These days, money is (usually) made in the support of a product. I am guessing that (going by posts in other threads) those who don't need the support will be interested in paying a lower price for such a mod. On the other hand they may just code it themselves, though. Just make sure you clearly publish the terms of support and pricing options if it's scaled (i.e. higher price, higher level of support), which is a good idea as people can just purchase the level they need. And finally - good luck if you go ahead with this. I know providing support can be tiring, especially if there's also a full-time job to deal with, too.
You MAY find a deep link mod cheaper but I don't think you will find one better or with greater service that An0n's. Its like the difference in buying a 1973 Gremiln or a 2007 Ferrari...they will both get you there but damn, which one would you rather drive
Ding, Ding, Ding, we have a winner.... I was wondering how long this thread would be open before someone brought his name up. Of course the OP was gaging interest in another version of this Mod but as with yesterday's thread it always seems to migrate back in this direction. Everyone knows the merits of that "other mod" by now so how about letting those still choosing to look elsewhere have a thread free from interference from those "knowing" what is best for everyone.
Money is money.. but what you get for your money is a totally different thing.. i'm not being funny about your service/mod but i'd prefer to pay full wack anyday and know that i have support when & if i need it. Good luck though, i think there would be many people interested in this.
