Can you get banned from digg?

    I thought I saw an article regarding people posting posts about digging their sites, and that it was a good way to get banned. Can anyone tell me if this is true.

    I have done about 3 diggs for people on here, and now I'm not sure I should have. Is their anyway around this?

    Thanks for the info everyone. I will not be doing that anylonger.

    Also I have an invitation for diggboss, can anyone tell me if digg bans these people to? And is this a good idea to join.

    I've been banned from digg and i didn't do nothing like that, i just dugg some DP members sites, probably less than 15 and got banned.
    Digg sucks :p

    I've dugg quite a lot of sites off DP, I havent been banned yet.. I wouldn't really care if i got banned anyway, it's only digg.

    You login can get banned, a URL can get banned, and they might even ban IP's (not sure about that). So yes, you can get banned. Their reasons for banning are usually spamming, digg exchanges, or inappropriate content.

    After I was banned, and too lazy to use proxies. I reset my router (took about 10 seconds) and now i am unbanned.
