Bluehost for proxies?

Is bluehost a good choice for proxies, and are they allowed?

You can ask them but I don't think they will allow proxy to be hosted with them as proxy hosting requires special packages.

i spoke to live support they said NO

 

Most of the shared hosting services dont allow proxies even some of them filter fsockopen to abuse the usage of proxies. For proxies you have to find some other solution from Digitalpoint or Namepros or Sitepoint or you can just go with a dedi box or vps

Well, almost 99% shared hosts don't allow proxy hosting on normal shared web servers.
