Hi JoeMack, here are many people who really want to know about the results of your experiment. Even if you fail in this experiment , then also there will be something to learn from that . Please don't stop updating this thread.

Hey Joe What dy'a know. Flaming, trolling all part of the great forum history. Without bad how would we recognise the good.

The best thing to do is switch to </ignore mode> and continue the good work. As you can see I've been here for years and always want to learn new stuff. If people don't like what you are doing they don't have to read the thread.

    Hi,
Nice to see more folks joining in!
Could you tell more about your experiment. I'm not asking for niche but to know the market sector would be good.

Also, how did you manage to earn a buck without having any content? What is your primary traffic source now?

    My update is:
    Day 2:
    Posts completed: 3

    Changed to dedicated IP :D
    Things to do: Analytics!
Another thing to do thanks to Bender: I need a favicon!!!

I tried this once before, i just couldnt get the right target audience form stumble and digg. Although i was getting a large flow of traffic, it felt more like i was wasting bandwidth!

My experiment is just creating a blog for fun with some friends. We all like the technology/video-games/gadgets/computers niche so we are just going to blog about that in general.

    The site is: http://xalfa.info

I have around 4 posts which have received around 15 visitors in total from the search engines.
I am using SEOBOOK - WordTracker and Google Keywords to mix and match phrases so that I can rank high for the chosen tailwords.
I got the dollar from 2-3 clicks so I am quite happy about that.

Digg is not a very useful method for traffic ATM so I have just decided to stick with tailwords for now.
My goal is to have a $10 a day blog with around 50-100 unique articles.

    -------------------------------------------------
Today I have done my robots.txt file, and I intend to create 1-2 more posts later since I have just arrived from school. Remember - the important thing is to chill

After I 10 unique posts I will start thinking about eZine Articles. I will also sign up to PayperPost in a week or two.

I will keep you guys updated.

On a small scale it is. But if you actually create AMAZING content, and get it popular on any of the social networks... it can be fantastic link bait!

Ok, so I decided to get the life back into the bum marketing discussion. I hope JoeMac doesn't mind. According to his account stats, he is dead... well, at least DP-wise.

I started a new thread here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=10011462 so that scruffy little oiks like cheeky002 don't yell about hijacking etc.
