Beware of a Bogus Rep'er Please

Today I had a few strange occurrences:

I don't purposfully try to piss off or annoy people, but we all do sometimes despite our best efforts.

However, I was taken a little aback and dumbrstruk from the following rep I saw this morning:

I was a bit miffed, but I wasn't concerned either ....

Then tonight, I get a PM from another member:

I purposefully omitted the sender's name, but here's my reply:

Upon the member was kind enough to reply:

Please be aware if you've received a negative reputation from an alleged me, it was likely NOT me ... someone thinks they're being cute, revengeful, or just childish. Luckily they'd be limited to ten (10) a day, so not likely the phantom me has offended more than a few dozen by now ...

People have sent rep to chicks using my name posting stuff like 'I want you baby!!' grrrr!!!!

 

Well, whoever did that is a turd and I have just one thing to say to him....

 

How ironic - I got one that was allegedly from you that said, "I want to have your baby!" And I thought you were a virgin???

UPDATE: Shawn was already aware of the problem and the culprit was identified and dealt with.

Yes. We as a whole on DP got together and agreed you kind of suck a little so we had Shawn drop your rep down a lot.

 

It was your brother's idea, though. Some of us tried to talk him out of it but he wouldn't listen. You know how stubborn he can be...
