I'm telling you quite honestly that my personal experience over the last 3 years is completely the opposite of a rosy picture.

Find someone in manufacturing, working in procurement, purchasing or HR. We're losing skilled workers who cannot transition to these infamous "better paying jobs" because they are millwrights, machinists and product designers, and the Chinese are using 3 year guest worker Visas from the northern provinces to come work on the East Coast (Shenzhen) for much less than a US dollar per day.

You see, the Chinese have a bevy of unskilled labor, so much so that with semi-skilled management, they can meet western production milestones by assigning 20 men to do the work of one American.

And that is reality. A harsh reality for a lot of people who work in automotive.

 

I will now make it my personal mission to point out any personal attack from my side AND your side. It weakens a debate, and I'll be sure to point it out wherever I see one, from now on.

Also, have a look through my post records, there were a few threads posted on here attacking Christians and trying to put spin on the Bible, and I debunked the original poster, explained why they were false, and scolded them for not using better arguments.

See what I mean?

I want to make any conversation here as fair and rational as possible, and in that interest will try and police "my guys" a lot more to show this to be true.

 

Respectable, though that's a huge burden on your part. Don't expect a huge turn though. We've had people before who believe it's their duty to be a moderator. I'm a combative debater. Sometimes reactive. I make no excuses for such. I'm passionate about what I do. However, I will treat you with the same respect you afford me.

I take a lot of crap and I give a lot of crap. I don't cry about it and I don't take it personally. Many seem to hold me to a higher standard than others. I find that flattering.

 

"Tearing down America" in GTech's vocabulary is anyone being critical about any policy supported by the current administration's past and present cronies.

Only in America could someone like GTech call criticism "tearing down America", as if this country wasn't founded on anyone's ability and given right to protest, speak out and be critical of government. "Tearing down America", it's like "friendly fire" and "jumbo shrimp"!
