Observation: How come when you guys post that you're making all kinds of money like, 1K a month or even just 100/week, it's such a big secret? I don't have a website that makes money. I have my career and all this web stuff is a hobby. I just like to learn about web stuff and hope to get a check from adsense someday to use for my users. I'm just wondering how come there is an unwritten rule about sharing how you made your cash.
Are you referring to Why google wants to keep certain aspects secret? like CTR and eCPM etc? or a user themeslf?
There is no secret. It is just work .... for example one 5 pages website a day with good content will work out just fine
No, I'm talking about the DP users. People will post about their 1,000 month and such and then that's it. Maybe I'm a kind of see it to believe it. I just wondered why people don't say how they did it. I mean if I got 1,000 in a month I might tell people to get them started. Maybe I'm still a noob.
I wrote the ebook about 6 months ago - you can read about it in this thread: My original eBook thread It was very popular and very well received, and got dozens if not hundreds of positive reviews. V4 of the ebook will be in my blog - i'll be posting about one new section per week over the next several weeks.
People will only share their secrets if there is something in it for them. If other people find out someone is making money, they will just be competition and then the word will spread from there.
I have good news for you: there is no big secret. Like iatbm said, it's just work... And some common sense too.
Yep, just keep reading threads here and learning and working hard. Even if its just a hobby, its still gonna take a lot of time and work to get up to that level of income.
There is no secret. Build a website with good unique content/services that people will want to link to and with repeat visitors. Do this and you'll succeed given enough time and perseverance.
Its like any other business out there, how much serious you're working on it and the returns will be there... like say.. Learn, Test, Expertise.. Also, I already bought Tearabite's ebook few months back and its just wonderful..
off topic: I just gave a short read on your blog (apart the background that would make some corners of a post invisible "or my eyes are just too tired today") i really liked your blog. Not the design, as i mentioned in the ()'s but i really did liked your writing skills, not usual from a for TCP/IP networking administrator (just teasing). back to topic: If i had worked so hard, and invested months and $$$ to reach that goal, why should i give away all the tips and techniques i had learned during those months just like that for free? Makes no sense in a certain point of view. Usually people start to show off tips and techniques once they notice that many have found out about that technique and every day much more people start to use it, so they share it in a eBook or in their blog (posting it partially and daily, so they can keep the visitors attention and they come back to his blog). nifty no? :> but thats another secret, ups...it is not anymore.
open yourself for the opportunity and hardwork are their secret. reading threads help you got ideas. hard works will help you earn moeny. hope this help.
There's a bunch of webmaster secrets out there. Well not really secrets, but ways to make cash using various methods [If that is the ultimate goal]. If someone needs to be spoonfed this information, they don't deserve to make money. Others have spent a large amount of their time researching and figuring out what needs to be done to make money online.
Check my sig for my ebook that I wrote. I could care less if people know. My ebook lists sites that picked my site up and throw me traffic left and right. Check out the signature and see for yourself. Any ?'s just PM me!!
