    gr8 exp!

But Google treats article submission as spam! this might work for the other two giants.

Interesting thread. I'm new to this. Do articles really work? I've gone to some of the top online article directories, followed the links to the authors' sites, and almost universally the PR sucks and there are no backlinks showing up in Google.

Is it really worth all the effort?

    Thanks,

BTW, are there any sites that accept articles with images? Much of my material is better presented with diagrams.

    Thanks again,

The author says article submissions don't work unless you use his software. Go figure. Oh, and his first 2 testimonials are for PR0 and PR1 sites.

I want to hear experiences from actual users.

James did not say article submissions don't work unless you use his software.
He said it makes it easy, you can do what he recommends manually.
You should read the article again.

PR could take 6 months to change for a new site.
The first PR0 testimonial has a lot of links.
The second and third ones have very few, not very good referrals....

    I check with http://www.myglobalpr.com/
It is a nice tool, does anyone have a better one?
    Thanks

I just read this thread and this is great ltcobretti ! :)

Just wanted to know if you go back and re-check if the articles you submitted a day before, or a few days back have been added or not? Or will you check them later after a few months.

This might sound stupid, but when ever I submit my articles to a few sites, I get so excited about going and checking each one of them, if they've linked back, or added my article... which actually wastes a lot of my time :(

I've been considering Article Submission for a short while now, so I'm very interested in how your project will pan out for you! And many of my sites are thoroughly underrepresented in Yahoo!/MSN, so the increased exposure would be a good thing.

When you get the time, tell us a bit more about what sites you're submitting to and if you're using automation to manage the submissions. I'd be really interested to find out.

It was a soft sell, but the point of the article was still to pitch his software.

Perhaps but I still think that testimonials are worthwhile to the consumer only if they point to success - not promises of future success.

I have submitted another article and am doing more, I use one software to promote with. Up to 6 hours in. Will get 2 more in tomorrow. We'll see how it all goes, two more weeks to go. I haven't made any tweaks yet. Will notify when I do.

James Brausch is the biggest tool on the internet, he got ran off the Warrior forum for spamming under fake screen names and I see in your brief time here you've been promoting his crap pretty heavy

I'm still following this thread. I've been checking your backlinks as well and so far nothing with Yahoo or Google.

    Google:0
    Yahoo:0
    MSN: 9
    Alltheweb:4
    Altavista:4

Are you getting any traffic yet from the article sites?

Traffic is still very light about 25 visits from articles total, some may be people watching the experiment...but I am trying to keep the articles quiet so that doesn't happen. I am 3 days behind, so the experiment will end next Friday, August 25th. Then we will give a bit more time and see where the site ends up. I will have a total of 20 hours in then.
