Revenue: I used the article directory for a different reason and never monetized it...
Domain is with Godady so a simple push will get you the domain and site!

Hosting: The site is running on shared hostgator account but be prepared to get a VPS in the future since the traffic is getting more and more (I had to move with my other directory to a VPS recently)

BONUS: I have a couple of Videos which explain how to use the templates (you can get different templates and some are free), how to use plugins etc - those videos will help you learn quickly and get most of your questions answered!

I've never run an article directory. How much work is involved with actually running the site (not including marketing, ect)?

Hi thanks for the interest - you have two ways to control the articles - either join a network and get the articles on autopilot or approve them manually - which I do - LOL
(but you can speed up the process with a little trick)

I get hundreds of new articles and members a day (no joke) but all those people who are signing up are also bringing in new leads...

I also have a 2 second Article Directory with more backlinks and more traffic it is getting so much traffic right now that I had to move to a VPS because Hostgator kicked me out (no joke)

I reveal the "secret" to the buyer - not so many people know about it...

 

You have that many real users in the database but no articles posted today? Also does the view count on the articles not work? Yesterdays recent articles have no views? May be interested but we need to address these questions. I already own some article directories and mine had to be on dedicated servers because the traffic is huge. Also you have just a little over 1,000 pages indexed by google for 260k Articles in the Database?

 

I have to approve articles - I could make a screenshot to prove how many I got today - usually between 100 - 300...
you can turn many functions on but this will cause more strain on the shared hosting....

Update: I counted the articles from 1 March - more than 250 - even though I approved all of the articles before offering the sites I have already almost 2000 new articles...
If you start out with a new article directory it will take you a very long time to see this results...
