Anyone else got the email alert after withdrawal (Indian Paypal Users) ??

Yes and I have also updated the post as lots of users complaining that XOOM stops operation in India if Payment source is PayPal but I am not able to get anything official about it as they have quite a bad support.

 

I have a business account. I issues a check, in the transaction log it showed check issued to (My Name). I am the account holder but the account is in my business name. So will i get a check in my name or the Business name?

Any idea any1?

 

Did it ask you in what name you wanted the check ..

 

I am facing the same kind of problem, I did the withdrawal on 12th Feb but the money is not reverted back to my account.

nothing new...... same old sorries

 

i have a friend from india and i helped him to send money to his name. choose cash pick up..

he sent me his funds and i sent him the money via xoom cash pick and it was successful in just mins

 

Same old story with new language but ....... they're still sayin that they're goin to solve it in a few days.... huh!!!

 

Moral : Never email PayPal customer support or be rest assured to get the same copy-paste template email again and again.

 

Red_virus .. I second you I hope they can change their replies to something more positive soon.

 

If and when they have anything positive to announce, it would be first updated on their blog... hence it would be better to keep an eye there, instead of sending them e-mails!

Yesterday I emailed them and asked that do I have an option to receive the checks by courier instead of normal Postal service.. And the customer support representative named Janine sends me this answer.
"Hello my name is Janine, I am happy to assist you with your question regarding this situation.

We review the situation but in this moment clients from India are not able to make transaction because we are having problem in our system.
We are working to fix this problem and it will take a few days.

Well PayPal have definitely changed the literal meaning of the words "a few days".... There should be another PayPal's version of dictionary...

Will the Paypal Plus Credit card be accepted in India? I don't think any shop in india except infibeam and few others, accept paypal. No use for us.

 

Dunno why, but I think the problem might be solved by March 5-10. PayPal users were in a similar awkward situation the previous year and their problem got solved by March 06 2009.

The cause of this problem may differ from the previous year's and I might be wrong, but I am optimistic and will not withdraw via check or CC until March 10. Let's pray this issue gets solved soon.

Friend please do not share unconfirmed information, i just tried and it said this Credit product is not for this country/ region
